Dr. Matt Balentine is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geoscience at the University of North Alabama where he teaches introductory physical geography and advanced human geography courses. His research interests include electoral geography, the geography of political communication, the US South, and the Rocky Mountain West. He has assisted numerous students in presenting their research at SEDAAG.
