The Southeastern Division of the Association of American Geographers (SEDAAG) is pleased to announce a graduate student Mini-Research Grant Competition. Funding for up to five small grants of $500 this year is made possible thanks to financial support from the AAG.
Proposals on any topic that will further geographic understanding via research are invited. The competition is open to a) currently enrolled Ph.D. students in universities in the region who have not yet defended their dissertation research; and b) who are current members of SEDAAG (https://sedaag.org/
Proposals must be received no later than January 6, 2023. Proposals will be judged by a committee of peers and faculty working in the region. Preference will be given to proposals which support work within and/or on the SEDAAG region, as well as proposals which credibly propose contributions to SEDAAG such as annual meeting presentations or organized sessions and/or publication in the Southeastern Geographer.
