Join us for the the 2021 SEDAAG Annual Meeting in Florence, Alabama on Nov 21-22, 2021. Thank you to our host, the University of North Alabama. Come explore the Alabama Shoals with us!
Meeting registration is now available through the AAG: 2021 SEDAAG Registration
Thanks to funding awarded to SEDAAG from the AAG, we are able to offer a limited number of student registration waivers for in-person participation at the SEDAAG 2021 Annual Meeting. Students must be current SEDAAG members, and be presenting a paper, a poster, or participating on a Geography Bowl team. Financial need is not a requirement for a waiver, however, if you do have a financial need (i.e., your department is not allotting funds for student travel due to COVID), please describe it in the application.
Additionally, the IDEAL Geographer (Inclusive, Diverse, Equitable, Accessible and Learning) Committee has the opportunity to award 18 free registrations to students for the American Association of Geographers, Southeastern Division (SEDAAG) conference. You will need to provide a short (less than 300 word) explanation about why you are a deserving recipient. Applicants will be informed of their award status by October 20th, 2021.
