Olamiposi Caleb Fagunloye is a Certified GIS Professional (GISP) and graduate student in Geosciences at Georgia State University. He has been an active member of SEDAAG, presenting original research at the 2024 annual meeting in Greenville, SC, on urban precipitation dynamics in Atlanta. Recognized globally and nationally, he was named one of Geospatial World’s Top 50 Rising Stars in Geospatial for 2025 and xyHt’s “25 GIS Professionals to Watch in 2025,” and received the 2024 URISA Young Professional of the Year award. Olamiposi currently serves as a GIS/Transmission Specialist at Southern Company and as a GIS Analyst with the Atlanta Regional Commission. His background in spatial data systems, public agency collaboration, and operational integrity positions him strongly for the Treasurer role.
