I am a full-time Lecturer in the Department of Geography, Environment, and Sustainability at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My research focuses on dendroclimatology, specifically examining how pine and oak species respond to drought and climatic variability in central North Carolina. Through both my teaching and research, I am committed to advancing geographic education and scholarship across the state and fostering connections among North Carolina geographers. As North Carolina State Representative for SEDAAG, I hope to support communication, collaboration, and engagement among geographers throughout the state while strengthening North Carolina’s representation within the broader SEDAAG community.
